On July 16, the President and Chairman of the Board of Sberbank PJSC visited the Hi-Tech Park. Herman Gref got acquainted with the main directions of the HTP’s activity, the peculiarities of the Belarusian legislation in the field of high technologies, the latest developments of the Park residents.
Special attention was paid to the use of artificial intelligence and smart contracts, including their use in the banking sector. Denis Aleinikov, senior partner of Aleinikov&Partners, spoke about Belarusian practices in the field of smart contracts.
After the meeting, Herman Gref praised the results of the HTP’s work and proposed to study in detail the possibilities of bilateral cooperation.

Company "MTS Urent," operating in the field of kicksharing, acquired the Belarusian technology development firm Eleven, which specializes in micromobility transportation.
Denis Aleinikov took the lead on legal defence of Blitz Team in a dispute with Wargaming, publisher and developer of the world-famous game World of Tanks. Five lawsuits have been brought to the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus against Blitz Team employees (former employees of Wargaming’s Minsk office) being sued for US$1.69 million altogether for violating Wargaming's exclusive rights while working on the Open Source project
