Dmitry Matveyev and Ksana Sidoruk delivered a presentation about Decree No.8 for representatives of foreign diplomatic missions
On January 11, at the invitation of British Ambassador to Belarus Her Excellency Fionna Gibb, Dmitry Matveyev and Ksana Sidoruk made a presentation about key points of Decree No.8 "On Development of Digital Economy" for representatives of foreign diplomatic missions, World Bank, EBRD.
The participants of the event were Stefano Bianchi (Ambassador of Italy to Belarus), Alex Kremer (Permanent Representative of the World Bank in Belarus), Alex Pivovarsky (Head of the EBRD’s office in Belarus), Peter Sloan (Economic Officer of the U.S. Embassy in Belarus), Jim Couzens (Head of the Policy, Press and Information Section of the EU Delegation to Belarus), Anya Luther (Deputy Ambassador of Germany in Belarus), Janne Heiskanen (Head of the Finnish Embassy office in Belarus) and others.
During his speech, Dmitry Matveyev, a partner of Aleinikov&Partners, paid special attention to innovations related to issues of regulating blockchain based business, in particular, the ICO structure in the Republic of Belarus, specified in the Decree No. 8 as well as mechanisms of protecting investors from scam-projects.
Senior associate Ksana Sidoruk told about English law institutes, which will be available, in particular, to the residents of the High-Tech Park starting from March 27, 2018.
