M&A transaction on acquisition of MapData by American Mapbox was finalized

Aleinikov&Partners law firm finalized an M&A transaction on the acquisition of a neural network startup Mapdata based in Belarus by a major cartographic US company Mapbox.
That is one more M&A deal involving both Belarusian and American parties, which has been closed in 2017. In August 2017, the Belarusian AI startup AIMatter was sold to Google Inc. under a similar scheme. The M&A deal was supported by Aleinikov&Partners as well.
Aleinikov&Partners Law Firm together with AstapowLawyers International Law Group advised Sports.ru on acquisition of 90live.org – Belarusian developer of mobile applications for football fans.
Aleinikov & Partners and IT Park of Uzbekistan have signed a Cooperation Agreement. Denis Aleinikov took the lead on legal defence of Blitz Team in a dispute with Wargaming, publisher and developer of the world-famous game World of Tanks. Five lawsuits have been brought to the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus against Blitz Team employees (former employees of Wargaming’s Minsk office) being sued for US$1.69 million altogether for violating Wargaming's exclusive rights while working on the Open Source project
